Shetland Triangle Shawl

This springs knitting project is a new shawl, and it is knitted in a yarn made for the purpose of knitting socks and that contains Aloe Vera in, named ON line Supersocke 100 Rainbow-color, colour 1391.

The idea is to finish the shawl with the edge knitted in a colour as similar as possible to the colour the yarn ends with, however the green-colour in this ball of yarn is not the easiest to find a match to! Sandnes Yarn's Lanett colour-nr 8513 to bright, and Dale Yarn's Baby Ull colour-nr 9052 is to dark but close. Even though the colour from Dale Yarn is the closest, I still hope to find a colour that matches a little bit better. So that one is not able to se that the edge is knitted in another shade of green..

The picture shows that the pattern is knitted 3 times, in total I have knitted the pattern 9 times. There is still enough yarn to repeat the pattern some more times, so that the shawl gets a little bigger before I have to knit the edge. I still hope to find a green colour that mathes for the edge!
